Perfect skin/case,
Very similar to the Casemate Pop, but with a better (more easily extended) stand and smoother, more comfortable grip. A little less bulky as well, though still does increase the thickness of the Playbook. The edges and corners are very well rounded, and holding the Playbook in the case feels both more substantial and more natural. This is by far the best skin case for the Playbook that I have tried.

|Durable, pretty case – AWFUL screen protector, kickstand difficult,
The case has well-positioned cutouts for the three ports on the bottom of the PlayBook, as well as for the headphone port on top and the rear camera. The fit of the silicone core is nice and tight, and the acrylic outer shell makes me feel pretty confident about my PlayBook being pretty well protected. I can only “deploy” the kickstand with my thumbnail and that with some effort– I couldn’t pry it open with any other fingernail for some reason, so it probably will not often get used, unfortunately. The screen protector is just awful, and while it feels nice and substantial, it looked terrible on the screen with several bubbles that no amount of using the included flat card would fix. I have had much better luck with a premium screen protector on other devices such as my iPad, so I wasn’t too concerned with the freebie screen protector that came with this case. It was so awful I threw it away. However, I didn’t even buy this knowing it had a screen protector at all, so I’m overall happy with the case itself.

Just got this case for my Playbook, fits perfectly, looks nice, and feels durable. It does add a good bit of weight to the device however, and the weight difference is definitely noticeable, but it does give it a better “feel” and grip. It also does not lie flat because of the kickstand in the back. This doesn’t bother me much since I do not use it while it is flat like that very often. The kick stand is nice, but it is hard to get it out. The ridge where you put your thumb nail in to pop it out is very small so unless you have long nails or something sharp, it can be difficult to get it out. It is also too big now to fit inside the Blackberry sleeve that the Playbook comes with. Other than that, seems to be a pretty good quality case, I do think it will prevent my device from breaking if I happen to drop it.
